Steam Update CoD for Win 10

If you have not been flying CoD lately, you need to be aware of a new patch activated by Steam that supposedly updates the software to Win 10 specs and allows Russian language options?

If you allow the download to change your settings, it will completely screw up CoD with respect to the TF patches and you will revert to the old Steam version. Much chatter on ATAG right now with fixes for those who allowed the Steam patch to over right their settings.

Simple solution is to allow Steam to download the patch (you don't have the option to decline anyway), then once the download is complete, your OS will ask if you want to allow that program to make changes to your computer. Simply select "NO" and all is fine.

There are other options to protect yourself within your Steam settings, e.g. you can set your default to not accept any beta programs, etc. More info on ATAG.
