Promotion: Alpine to Corporal

Attn all No.401 Staff:
Early this morning at 0400 hours, a certain pilot was dragged out of bed, hauled across the field and strapped onto the tail section of YO-N. Several circuits of the airfield and a not entirely un-intentional bumpy landing later, the lads cut Alpine down from the Hurricane and hoisted him up on their shoulders. A job well done.
Alpine has been promoted to the rank of Corporal

Way to go Alpine. I fine pilot of your talents needs to get recognition. Very much enjoyed our flights together lately and hope for many more victories in the future.
