Promotion! F/L DNR to S/L
ATTENTION ALL No.401 SQDN STAFF:
It is with great pleasure that I announce the first S/L promotion in the history of our Virtual Squadron. This officer has regularly contributed to the Squadron's flight diary with numerous exploits and continues to pile up the enemy aircraft destroyed in the tally. He has built missions for everyone's enjoyment, spending time learning the intricacies of the FMB and was the first to start utilizing the trigger system which has paved the way for new developments and advanced missions for the group.
He contributes regularly to the group, sticks around in spite of a sometimes dodgy internet connection, and holds the high standard of character and respect for others that the squadron maintains.
Congratulations, Squadron Leader DNR.

Well, what can I say? Stunned thanks and gratitude
A hearty thank-you to all and sincere thanks to Wolverine who continues to make our squadron experience one to cherish and well worthy the work we all put into it.
This is totally unexpected. I do what I do out of the enjoyment I get while sharing my little adventures, and the satisfaction to get a chance to be somewhat creative in bringing a bit of history back to life each week when our special little group scrambles off virtual airfields from long ago. If it were not for the superb camaraderie and friendship from each of you then that experience might never have materialized. Thanks to our Skipper, we maintain a dedicated core who will continue to enjoy all that CoD and 401 Sqn have to offer.
Taps are flowing at the ol' Dog and Bull fella's. Belly up!!!
