DCS 2.5.1 Open Beta
Spoke with SeaQuark today as he is considering rolling the Korean! 1952 into 2.5.1. Open Beta.
Standby for confirmation. If he makes that change before 2 June then I'll announce it here as early as possible.

DCS 2.5.1. Open Beta
The Korea! 1952 server will convert to DCS 2.5.1. Open Beta this week.
Everyone should have installed and tested the new version prior to Saturday's mission with 39th VFS. The download location is at the link DCS World 2.5.1.Open Beta.
This version will update by copying 52,993 Mbs from your existing DCS World 2.5.0 folder. You can create a DCS Open Beta folder or just let the download do that for you. I deleted all folders and files from my old DCS Open Beta folder just retaining the main folder so the new files could copy/download there.
After the copy function, 13,030 Mbs will download to provide the updates.
May sure you also test DCS SRS and ensure TracIR continues to work properly (I'm not aware of any issues and am probably stating the obvious)
SeaQuark stated that he will need to recreate all of the server features and functions from scratch. Some of the more advanced functions will not be available in the near term, but will be added in the weeks to come.
The upshot is that Kutaisi is now on the back burner and will not be implemented, at least in the near term. He wants to focus on keeping the server as simple and streamlined as possible. So read into that what you may.
No mention was made of skins, so I assume they will be implemented.

DCS World 2.5.1. Open Beta
The download took practically all night. Now I didn't disable my firewall so that might explain the slow download time. But now that it's done I fired it up this morning and am now in the process of copying all my modules into the new folder (this is an automatic function and all you have to do is enable it).
As before, we might be stuck resetting all of our aircraft controls. I'll wait to see if those gui files get copied over as well.

DCS 2.5.2. Open Beta
Interestingly, once you complete the download, it lists as version 2.5.2
Same ol routine: Use Explorer to open C:/USER/NAME/SAVED GAMES and locate your DCS folder and the new DCS Open Beta folder.
Copy your "Input" folder from DCS Config and paste that into DCS Open Beta/Config - this will contain your F86 control .lua files (I confirmed that this works)
Copy you "Scripts" folder from DCS and paste that into DCS Open Beta/Scripts - this will contain your DCS SRS scripts and hook files
Copy your "Liveries" folder from DCS and paste that into DCS Open Beta/Liveries - this will contain your 77 Sqn Generic skin
Copy your ".miz" files from your DCS/Missions folder and paste these into DCS Open Beta/Missions folder
I checked DCS Open Beta and all seems to work normally. Korea! 1952 is operating on DCS Open Beta now.
DCS SRS seems to be working normally, but need someone else in the server to check the channel function. I'll be in tonight for a while if anyone wants to jump in.
I'm going to run a flight test after lunch to check our the function and frame rates and to verify the Tacview works (so far DCS Open Beta has not detected Tacview)
Alpine - try downloading and installing this version of DCS, maybe we can get lucky and get you up and running again.

DCS 2.5.2. Open Beta Update
Another small update was released today. It's 1948 Mbs in size.
P.S.
Not sure what's going on with this update. Tried twice and both times the update failed. Shut to computer down for an hour and fired it up again and this time no update.
Currently running version 2.5.2.18144
Third attempt and no success.
I recommend that you not update until this is fixed. I was able to access Korea! 1952 server so on effect on our ability to fly multiplayer.

Re: DCS 2.5.1 Open Beta
My game is now up to date. Unfortunately I cannot get in to the Korea 1952 server. tried accessing for over 15 minutes but no joy. Pity SeaQuark did not stay on the stable 2.5 because the 2.5.2 one is crap.

2.5.2 Open Beta
Hi Dev,
I've been on a couple of times with no issues. You may have tried to access his server when he was trying to re-write the scripts and update the scenario. He indicated that he had to re-create it from scratch so lots of work to do.
I couldn't get in last night either, but I'll try again tonight. Don't think the issue is related to the Open Beta version.
Cheers
