Promotion! StiC now Senior Aircraftman!

The engine hadn't stopped turning over when the airfield commander stepped up to YO-F and offered LAC StiC and hand down from the wing.

"Nothing today?" he asked after StiC's last sortie. Patrol to Littlestone. The pilot looked disappointed (and recovering from a pounding headache).

"Well, you'll get Jerry next flight, Senior Aircraftman." The commander passed out the new patches and slapped StiC on the shoulder. "Congratulations. Don't let it go to your head, lad!"
