New machine up and crawling
Hi all, Well what an eventful couple of days. I have the new main board and cpu. I have reinstalled all my software and have had a huge amount of trouble getting COD to work. I kept getting launcher crashes on loading the game. I did a lot of searching and the guys at ATAG helped and I now have the game running.
The issue I have now is that when I run my saitek joystick software and place the profile on, and then press a button on the joystick, it keeps repeating very fast and the action I want to do (say open cockpit) cycles back and forth.
If I just press the keyboard all OK!
Has anyone had this issue on their Saitek joystick? If so help please. :(

Saitek
Target,
Don't try to program the stick or thrust using their software. Just go through the normal set up routine to map the keys and axis you want. I tried to use the Saitek software when it fire arrived and it was a pain in the ass to say the least. Not sure if that's your problem, but worth a shot.

Assuming you already went to the Saitek site and tried out other drivers and software, yes?
Re: New machine up and crawling
I just download the driver from the Saitek site and then, like Stic said, map the commands from the game.I think that the Saitek SST thingy is a bit 'ify'.

Yeah discussed this with Squiz last night and I am thinking that is the way to go. Strange that it worked fine for all those years on the old machine. It is an older joystick so maybe thats the issue. Thanks any how guys.

Well I have now made all the changes and all seem good in virtual ww2. I still have not got all the controls as I would like them but I am ready and will fix as items come up.
