Florida Update

I played 18 holes at the Woodlands CC in Boca Raton where we paired up with a couple of gents from Quebec. Turns out that one of them was a retired Captain in the RCAF and after some swapping of stories between holes, I discovered that this guy was a former 104 Starfighter pilot. We'll, didn't we get along just fine after that! Between great tee shots and chips and putts onto the green, he shared some memories of flying a variety of fighters. I was mostly interested in the Starfighter and he seemed to enjoy reminiscing about flight speeds, how he used trim and gear when landing and the systems used to monitor fuel flow.

Long story short, I got his e-mail address and told him that I'd send a few links to DCS videos so he could see just how far flight sim has come since his days in the cockpit.
