Donation Menu Item

Right now non-Canadians cannot donate as it only allows us to select Canadian provinces.  The credit card companies do not approve.

That I can't help with, since my account is based in Canada. I've put in a question to PayPal all the same on how it works.

If you have a PayPal account, it doesn't matter what country you're from. Just use your PayPal account to make the donation. Sign in on the right hand side. Most of us have PayPal accounts now, right?

No problem. To be honest it is long overdue.

I'm curious to see what kind of notification I get when a donation comes in. Hopefully it'll be easy to track and monitor.

I don't yet have a PayPal account but will check it out and see what I can do to make a donation soon.

Still can't get pay pal to work. I don't have an account, which usually isn't an issue because they let you do credit card anyhow - but not in this case it seems.

Hmm, not sure what to tell you. I've seen international donations coming in, so I know that it works. Perhaps those individuals had their own PayPal accounts, though.

Maybe it's a question to send to PayPal. They're pretty quick at responding.

I would suggest sending it via the new donation button now since that way I can monitor how much is being sent in to pay for the server. I've been given a target of about $100 a month for that.

If we get more than $100 coming in per month, I'll start putting some of it towards the Teamspeak3 server (which isn't a huge cost).

Before, with the armalive address, I had no idea how much was being donated so it was difficult to know if we were coming up short or paying more than necessary.

I'd like it to be a bit more organized now that we've got some traction with public players who are coming to the site.

Remember, any amount helps!
