Promotion of Rank: StiC now Pilot Officer
Late this evening, several pilots crept through the barracks towards the bunk of Officer Cadet StiC and made sure that the sleeping pills crushed into his evening tea had taken effect enough that he would be sedate for his journey. All flags go, the crew of four picked up his cot and manoeuvred it out into the night.
With everything set up ahead of time, they moved into place and made ready to heave to. With a quiet 'one, two, three!' they launched the slumbering Officer Cadet into the air and into the manufactured mud puddle at the north eastern edge of Croydon AF.
Soon after the wet squelch and cries of protest the flood lights were turned on just long enough to reveal the assembly of pilots giving a good cheer to our good Stick in the Mud.
We are all pleased to present our newest Pilot Officer: StiC.
Well done, old boy! Now get cleaned up!

Well done Mate!
Congratulations StiC. Well deserved and that brings the Sqn up a notch in our junior officer ranks. All we need now are three solid sections and we have our Flight and Section leadership in place.
Hope that last "flight" did'nt result in too rough of a landing!

Sure, Gin & Tonic, but in a dirty glass, and I shall call this drink a "Mud Puddle". Rounds for everyone!
