Hey guys,

I'll be away this Saturday night due to visitors from out of town.

Spitfire was released for BoX today if you bought Battle of Kuban on pre-purchase. Would be interesting to get a VR comparison with DCS for it. StiC?

I didn't pre-order BoK so no Spitfire here.
Out of curiosity how many of us have Battle of Stalingrad?

I have it (Bos)as well as a spare key as they sent me two by mistake a while back and told me to keep it.So,if anyone wants it,just ask.I flew their Spitty yesterday, not as responsive, but is there a comparison between Dcs's mk lx and Bos"s mk v?

I gave the BoK Spitfire a little test last night too. Definitely agree with Alpine that it's not as responsive in the power. I did find it a lot easier to dogfight with it though. It just seemed to me more stable in the air and I was able to bring guns to bear a lot more easily.

I'd love to try building some missions in BoX to fly with people but I find the mission editor crashes on me regularly for some reason. I'll try again soon and see if I can get something together.

The thing about BoX is that not only does the AI fly reasonably well, the AI flight and damage model doesn't seem to suffer from the same issues as DCS.

Looks like I won't make it tonight. The young fellow is still going strong with no end in sight.

Can you fly the Spitfire in the Steam version of BoS if you pre-order BoK?
Do the Steam and stand alone versions work together for multiplayer?

I have both BoS and BoM but haven't played them much. Most of the MP servers seem to be in Europe so my ping is on the high side. The only plane handling area I had previously had any concerns with was the ground handling being very bouncy but they seemed to have fixed that. Otherwise the flight and damage models seem OK.
