Pitfalls for the semi informed

Yesterday afternoon I was online with Squiz and he mentioned that my voice seemed somewhat less clear over Teamspeak than normal. I tried rebooting etc but the problem remained.

This evening I figured out what was wrong. Earlier in the day I had installed a new webcam and had not realized that Windows had changed my default microphone from the boom mic on my headset to the one included in the new webcam.

I know that my computer is really an inanimate beast designed to only act in accordance with its programming but sometimes it acts as if it has a mind of its own.
