My first Case 3 landing

Yesterday evening I joined in a four plane mission put up by STEG and it included a return to our carrier after dark. One of our team was shot down over the target and then sat on the carrier to watch our landings. The following pic is my first Case 3. What I did not know was that there was an AI F18 right behind me - it waved off at the last minute and my landing was successful. It looked a lot darker from where I was and the carrier's lights only come into view about two miles out.

Well done! Not sure I'm ready for a case 3 yet...
