We've had a few American members. None currently, though. More than welcome, of course! Swing by on Saturday night at 9pm eastern and join us a couple of times and see if you like the group.
Don Blakeslee, a pretty famous American pilot and commander from the war, was actually a pilot with 401 for a while.

I have to rebuild my cockpit, I'll give it a try to be finished by then.
I'll probably sit on the ground for most of the time since I've been a dedicated German pilot since IL2 first came out. All the sqns I've been a member of flew the 109 so I'll have to familiarize myself with, what, the Hurricane?

Welcome!
The Spitfire and Hurricane are practically interchangeable. The Hurricane is more forgiving during take off and landing and is probably better to start with.
